This design was a dance party for the Disc Jockey and Video Artist DJ Shadow. Working over three floors of an existing building I chose to augment the space with elastic screens, cost-effectively transforming it into an interactive experience. DJ Shadow was not to physically attend the event; instead he was performing elsewhere and being projected onto the screens. His image jumped from screen to screen around the three floors of the building with the sound fading between the spaces. In this way the DJ could physically take the audience on a ride through his music.
